Meet the Adviser Chris Griffiths

Chris has worked in finance since 2003, starting as a trainee with Co-operative Insurance Services (CIS), now known as Royal London, before moving to a career in personal and business banking at HSBC bank in 2006. It was during his time at HSBC that Chris recognised his true passion for helping people to achieve their hopes, dreams, and ambitions. Chris worked at various locations at HSBC from a Premier contact centre to local branches in rural West Wales. In 2020, Chris recognised that banking was changing and not wanting to be left behind, chose to change with the times, and branched out to be a Mortgage and Protection Advisor. Calon is Welsh for 'heart' and it's no coincidence that Chris is a firm believer of 'home is where the heart is'. Outside of his professional time, Chris is a keen family man and rugby fan. He is treasurer of a local rugby club and is a keen supporter of them.
